Hello everyone!  Real quick for now...Just wanted to let you know that we're on our way home!  Dr. Drake saw me just now and determined that I have not dilated any more than when I first arrived at the hospital three weeks ago--still at 1 cm.  So, she is sending me on my way to continue bedrest at home.  We are really looking forward to getting out of here, and feel great about leaving when Dr. Drake has so much confidence that I will be OK.  She predicts that we will have to good length of time left in the pregnancy--we certainly pray this is true.

We will update the blog as things happen, but Lord willing, things will be pretty inactive from here on out until the baby comes, and hopefully that will be in a couple months or more!  I will start seeing Dr. Drake and my OB doctor in Ames both on a weekly basis to continue to monitor my health and the baby's health.

Thank you again for your prayers through this time we have spent in the hospital!  We have seen the Lord answer so many of our prayers and just prove our worries and concerns wrong.  He has taught us so much.  We praise Him for getting me to a stable condition, and pray that this continues through to a healthy delivery date for the baby.

As you think of us, please remember to say a little prayer for our little boy and for the rest of my time on bedrest at home!  Again, our due date is May 6th; we'll see how the Lord chooses to work all this out!
