We're all home!
Quick update for now, but I wanted to let you all know that we are all home as of Thursday afternoon. Judah was able to celebrate his one week birthday in Daddy's arms at home in his own nursery! We're overjoyed to have him here with us!
We had a check up with his doctor on Friday to make sure that he is gaining weight. At weigh-in time, he was exactly the same weight as when he left the hospital on Thursday. So, at least he is not losing weight while being here at home. We had hoped to see that scale say that he had gained some, but we are glad that he didn't lose anything too. We have another check-up with his doctor next Friday to make sure that he's staying on track with gaining weight.
Something to pray about would be his feeding. Since he was born premature, he doesn't have enough strength to nurse for an entire feeding. We are having to use special techniques as well as supplement with formula in order to help him get enough food. We pray that as he grows, he will gain enough strength to nurse for entire feedings.
Thanks for all your notes and emails! We are glad to have everyone at home, and I am glad to be up and around without a baby inside of me! It is much easier to gain strength after being on bedrest for three months if I don't have a baby inside!
He's much better outside where I can hold and snuggle him!

We are glad to know Judah is here and doing well. I wanted to send you are new email address, as Marylue is no longer secretary and will not be forwarding emails to church. Marlene
