Week with friends

The Lord blessed us with a wonderful week spent with old friends last week.

We traveled to Maryland, Delaware and New York to visit some friends.  We were able to visit with pastors of two of our supporting churches in Maryland.  It was a joy to introduce them to Judah and catch up on each others' lives.  We went to Delaware next to stay with some friends that we met a couple years ago at a church.  By the Lord's blessing, we have been able to keep in contact with this couple and even got to meet their new baby girl who was born in July.  Judah had a new friend to play with!  It was fun to watch him react to another baby--he just kept staring at her and was very interested in every sound she made!

That weekend we traveled to Springville, New York, where we have another supporting church.  The pastor and his family are good friends, and we were very anxious to see them and the church family again!  It was such a pleasure to fellowship with them and introduce them to our sweet Judah.  Judah was not short on smiles over the weekend!  He was a very happy baby and seemed to enjoy being amongst friends.

The highlight of the week was definitely introducing our friends to Judah!  We know that Judah was and still is a very prayed for baby, and these loved ones in the Lord were some very important prayer warriors on his behalf.  We wish that we could introduce Judah to all of his prayer warriors one by one!  Thank you to all of you who did pray and still do pray for Judah and our family!  Someday we will tell Judah how God answers prayer!

The one spoiler for the week was getting our digital camera stolen!  We're not sure what happened exactly, but we think that it got stolen right out of the pocket on our diaper bag while we were waiting in the lobby of an Olive Garden restaurant in Dover, DE.  We are so disappointed and feel a little lost without our media side kick!  Updating pictures on our website will definitely be tough now!  It stinks, but there are worse things that could happen, we know!  Hopefully someday we will be able to purchase a new one in God's timing and as He provides.

We were thankful to return home this week.  We are blessed to be able to see the changing colors of fall while we are living here in North-central PA.  It is so beautiful; truly a sight to see!

Thank you all for your prayers and interest in our deputation ministry!
