So Quickly Outdated!

Our support level keeps rising!  Hardly do we struggle with being outdated with our support level just a week afterwards!  We are currently at 90% of our need!  Praise the Lord!

We are excited to think about where the Lord might be leading us for our first building project when we start full time next Spring.  Wherever it may be, we will be glad to go and get started with the building ministry!  While Andy may be excited to get out his tools again, it will be bittersweet as we consider that the Lord is moving us on, past the pre-field ministry stage.  While pre-field ministry, or deputation, is difficult in many ways, we will miss meeting new people all the time and being used by the Lord in all the different churches.  We are certainly thankful for all the people God lead us to meet and used to bless our lives over the last 3 ½ years!  We have learned so much and really enjoyed our time on deputation.

It’s not over yet, though!  We still need 10% of our support.  Even though we have enough to be on the field full time, we still need that last $500/month in order to be fulfill all of our budget requirements.  We trust God to meet this need in His time, like He has with so many other things in our lives.  We have never been in need.  He has proven Himself faithful over and over.

This Wednesday we will travel back home to Iowa for the holiday/winter season.  We so look forward to seeing that “Welcome to Iowa” sign off of I-80!  This year the farmers in Iowa have had trouble harvesting crops, we’ve heard, because of the rain.  So, we’re looking forward to maybe seeing some combines in the fields as we travel the wide open roads of Iowa!  And, being the loyal Iowans that we are, I have to say, “Go Hawks!”  We’ve had fun being Hawkeye fans in Penn State country this fall!
